Kendrick Lawrence and Steve Coman won the gold medal at the World Special Olympics Games in China. See story and photos. October 2007 CSC was well represented at the Wurstfest Regatta having entries is most fleets. Richard Wade won the Flying Scot class and Masie Comen won the Laser 4.7 class. Complete results. October 20-21, 2007 SMU hosted our annual Fall Regatta “Frozen Hate”. Nine schools from our SEISA district entered in this year’s regatta - Tulane, UT, OSU, OU, SMU, Baylor, Texas AM, Texas AM Galveston, Texas AM Corpus Christi. SMU would like to say thank you to CSC for all your continued help. After the regatta, all of the teams wanted to send their thanks to CSC. Photos. September 16, 2007 Gene Soltero won the 30 boat Wells Series of the 2007 Snipe Nationals at Lake Dillon, Colorado with a 2, (6), 2, 4, 3, 4 – Congratulations and job well done. Ken Culver placed 9th in the Wells Series of the 2007 Snipe Nationals with a 7, (15), 5, 8, 11, 12. Full results. July 28, 2007 CSC's Gavin Rudolph, John and Collin competed in the Governor's Cup Regatta - International Youth Match Racing Championship - at the Balboa Yacht Club. July 16-21,2007 Kelly Gough places second in the Championship Fleet, Michael Mittman wins the Challenger Fleet and Greta Mittman wins the Woman's Championship at the Flying Scot North American Championship regatta. April 27 - 29, 2007 Lightning sailors represented the club well at the Spring Fling Regatta at Jackson Yacht Club in Jackson Mississippi. Scott Anderson with crew Amy Williams placed 1st out of 8 boats. John Womble with crew Christie Womble and Deanna Newman placed 5th with Steve Bell and Amanda Boers crewing for former CSC member John Wascomb close behind in 6th.
