September 28, 2003 Jeff Perna and Gene Soltero were tied for the Lake Championship after sailing six races on September 27. A sail-off will be held October 12th. Complete results. Gene Soltero and Alane Capen take first place in the Snipe Midwesterns. September 13-14, 2003 Kelly Gough and Bruce Faust win Lake Championship Preliminaries on September 21, 2003. Mallory Cup Area F Elimination Regatta, CSC September 6-7 - Scott Mauney from CSC was the only applicant and will advance to the finals. Jeff Bodkin wins Lightning Fleet 35's Spring 2003 Series Karen Kubliski and Tom Forgue take 5th in the C-15 Nationals. July 18-20. Bill Draheim and Scott Mauney win the Flying Scot Nationals. Jeff Bodkin is sailing across the Atlantic on King's Legend, one of 63 yachts participating in the DaimlerChrysler North Atlantic Challenge 2003, July 4 to 12, 2003 Tom Miller wins Flying Scot Spring Series. Scott and Natalie Mauney won the Flying Scot Wife Husband Regatta which was sailed at Grande Maumelle Sailing Club outside of Little Rock. See photos. June 21-22, 2003. CSC Sailors represented the club well at the Flying Scot Mid-Winters in Panama City, FL the week of March 23. Kelly Gough and Skip Diebold placed 2nd out of 31 with Scott and Natalie Mauney and Michael Mittman close behind in 3rd. The all women team of Greta Mittman, Susan Justis and Teresa Morris placed 6th out of 27 in the Challenger Fleet. See the FSSA site for complete results and photos. Bill Draheim took second at the Thistle Mid Winters. There were 60 boats on the line with one start. Eight races were sailed with no throw outs. Bill won five out of the eight races.
