Paul Denison was tied for 3nd, after loosing a tie breaker, in the 18 boat Laser Radial fleet at the Austin Yacht Club's Easter Laser Regatta. This is a Grand Prix event that attracts some of the best Laser sailors around. Conditions varied from dead calm to 40+ microbursts and warm sunshine to cold rain. The top sailors proved to be those who hiked hardest, capsized least and righted their boat the fastest after the inevitable death roll. Paul was 1st among the juniors twenty and younger. April 10-11.

Kelly Gough takes 4th and Richard Wade takes 5th in the Flying Scot Mid-Winters, March 29 through May 1.

CSC juniors represented the club well last weekend at the Austin Yacht Club Junior "Roadrunner" Regatta. Masie Comen placed 3rd in the Optimist Green Fleet, with Will Pierce not far behind in 7th and Cameron Keehn finishing in the top 10. Caroline Keehn also made a good showing just by braving the the chop and 20 knot winds of Lake Travis. Paul Denison also had a good regatta, placing 5th in the 22 boat Laser Radial Fleet. - March 27-28

Jeff Bodkin with crew Debralee Swancy and Ed Dodds take 2nd in Lightning fleet at the Spring Fling Regatta at Jackson Yacht Club in Jackson Mississippi.
